Vampires do exist! …Well at least to a certain extent.
Ever encounter one of those people who are just so unhappy with their own life that they have to make everyone else around them equally miserable? They look at the lives of others (and their level of happiness) and only see what they have that they do not. They could be the Royal Prince of Persia and still only see what that someone else has that they want and do not yet possess.
Instead of trying to work at bringing their quality of life up to a higher level, Real Life Vampires (RLVs) will just try to drag unsuspecting individuals down to their level because it is far easier. RLVs will literally suck the life blood out of the people in their lives. If one is not wary of such creatures, one could easily become one of them without even realising they have been bit. With their bite, the blood is poisoned with viral forms of bitterness, jealousy and negativity; thus one has become one of them.
If one is to discover they have, in fact, come across such an individual it is best to escape their clutches by any means necessary. Do not bother trying to tell them they are in fact a vampire because in true horror film fashion… they can not even take a look at themselves in the mirror.
In rare cases it can be known for a RLV to be cured and have their heart beat returned, but this usually takes a lengthy process of blood transfusions and a complete dialysis of their lives.
